Arbitration is a dispute resolution mechanism which gives parties significant autonomy to create a response procedure for their dispute.  The result of such a process is an arbitration award issued by an Arbitral Tribunal which is final and binding on the parties.   This award is analogous to a court judgment and can be successfully challenged only in very exceptional circumstances.
