Speaking Opportunities:

HKIAC welcomes speaker submissions throughout the year.   We are committed to inform and facilitate discussion between users and practitioners about the changing landscape in alternative dispute resolution.  Topical issues and practical tips are explored through our panel discussions, lectures, trainings and workshops.

All submissions are reviewed on the merits of the content. Due to the volume of submissions, only successful applicants will be contacted.

If you wish to be considered as a speaker for one of our events, please send us an email at events@hkiac.org providing us with the following information at least two months prior to the event date:

  • Short  CV / Bio (no more than 1 page)
  • Presentation Structure (panel discussion / lecture / case study  training)
  • Proposed title and description
  • Additional panelists to be considered

We require all speakers to submit a paper on the seminar topic.   Please note that the papers and a video-recording of the seminar will be made available to our members no later than two weeks after the seminar. 


Co-organisers:

HKIAC is open to co-organise events, seminars and trainings with a focus on alternative dispute resolution and related fields.

If you wish to co-organise an event with HKIAC, please send us an email at events@hkiac.org providing us with the following information:

  • Proposed title and description
  • Presentation Structure
  • Proposed speakers

All submissions are reviewed on the merits of the content. Due to the volume of submissions, only successful applicants will be contacted.

Subject to room availability and topic of the event, HKIAC may host the event at HKIAC on a complimentary basis.  In exchange, all other direct expenses must be bore by co-organiser.

Supporting Organisations:

HKIAC supports equality and diversity within the international dispute resolution community. For events where HKIAC is invited to act as a Supporting Organisation, HKIAC expects event organisers to encourage diverse speaker panels.

As a supporting organisation, HKIAC will upload event details and flyer on our website. While, organisers will include HKIAC’s logo in all marketing materials. 

  • Please note that HKIAC will only disseminate flyers to its members for events organised or co-organised by HKIAC only.

Due to the high volume of invitations, we will review and revert on the merits of topic.
