Seminar on “How to mediate building management disputes” (“如何調解大厦管理上的糾紛”) for the Eastern District Office9 January 2010 Mr H.F. Leung, Vice-Chairman of the Hong Kong Mediation Council, delivered a talk on “How to mediate building management disputes” (“如何調解大厦管理上的糾紛”) in the seminar “Eastern District Building Management Seminar 2010” (“東區大厦管理研討會2010”) on 9 January, 2010. The seminar was organized by the Eastern District Federation of Multi-storey Building Organizations with the assistance of Eastern District Office aiming at enhancing building management related knowledge among members of Owners Corporations and owners in private buildings. The seminar attracted an attendance of more than 100 and guests including the Chairman of the Federation and the Assistant District Officer. Mr. Leung’s talk was well received and has successfully aroused the interest of the audience in the use of mediation in resolving building management disputes as reflected in the many questions raised from the floor.
