HKIAC Users’ Council
In an effort to promote the growing interest of arbitration, mediation and alternative dispute resolution in the Asia-Pacific region, and to provide a platform for the exchange of information and experience among users of dispute settlement services, the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (“HKIAC”) has created the HKIAC Users’ Council. Individuals and institutions who wish to participate in shaping the future of dispute resolution services in Hong Kong and the region are welcome to join. The HKIAC Users’ Council is a membership based sub-division of the HKIAC. Although HKIAC dispute resolution services are available to all contracting parties without any membership requirement, membership of the HKIAC Users’ Council provides a number of distinct benefits as detailed below. There are two categories of membership: Individual Membership and Institutional Membership. Interested parties may apply for membership of the HKIAC Users’ Council by completing Form “UC” and submitting the form together with the necessary fees to the HKIAC Secretariat for handling.
