HK45 Welcomes New Committee Members 

HK45 is happy to welcome an exceptionally talented group of new Committee members, whose term will run from 2022-2024:

• Pryderi Diebschlag – Counsel, Clyde & Co
• Jacky Fung – Associate, Kirkland & Ellis
• Murphy Mok – Registered Foreign Lawyer, Herbert Smith Freehills
• Lydia Tang – Associate Director, Berkeley Research Group
• Sylvia Tee – Senior Registered Foreign Consultant, Karas LLP in association with Mishcon de Reya

This year’s Committee will continue to be under the strong leadership of the three co-chairs, Ben Bury (Partner, Holman Fenwick Willan), Joanne Lau (Partner, Allen & Overy) and Eric Ng (Managing Counsel, HKIAC). Also carrying on their efforts from last year’s Committee through this year are Victoria Khandrimaylo (Counsel, HKIAC), Aditya Kurian (Counsel, O'Melveny & Myers), Tara Liao (Barrister, Denis Chang's Chambers), Yvonne Shek (Consultant, Clifford Chance), Jennifer Wu (Senior Associate, Pinsent Masons) and Kitty Zheng (Associate, Shearman & Sterling).

HK45 is extremely thankful to the outgoing Committee members, including Mariel Dimsey (Partner, CMS Hong Kong), Duncan Watson (Partner, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan), Kelvin Cheong (Partner, PwC), Suraj Sajnani (Senior Associate, KWM) and Felda Yeung (Of Counsel, Gall), whose hard work and dedication has been instrumental in growing HK45’s reputation over the past two years and has helped ensure HK45’s growth for years to come.

Last year, HK45 organised and partnered with various organisations on a range of events, including the inaugural HK45 Essay Competition, Expert Cross-Examination Workshop, Fireside Chats with leading arbitration practitioners, the HK45 Annual Pub Quiz and many more.  The Committee has exciting plans for the coming year and will continue to hold events aiming to cover diverse aspects of arbitration.
