The Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre is recruiting a Marketing & Events Coordinator.  The Marketing & Events Coordinator will assist the Business Development Team in implementing a variety of ongoing marketing and development projects/strategies including event organisation, public & media relations, interactive/web marketing, print media, and other marketing programs.

Responsibilities: assist and manage various marketing and communications projects including but not limited to:

  • Events Management: Organise and run all aspects of seminars (1 hour to half day) and full day conferences 
  • Website: Assist in updating and maintaining the CMS website (home page, calendar, what’s new, media center and program pages)
  • Digital Media Support: Assist with the development and production of digital collateral (photos and photo database, video clips and other multi-media)

Requirements:

  • Experience with a broad range of event activities such as seminars, presentations, receptions;
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills;
  • Knowledge and understanding of event budgets;
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure;
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills;
  • Capable of writing reports, procedures and business correspondence;
  • Design savvy: experience with Adobe Illustrator, In-design, and Photoshop;
  • Software experience including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Proficiency with the Website Content Manage;
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team;
  • Shows positive interaction with co-workers;
  • Possesses keen attention to detail; and 
  • Demonstrates ability to solve problems, analyze systems & data and suggest appropriate solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Marketing, advertising, public relations or similar field preferred
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English are essential - written and verbal
