CDRC Vienna
CDRC Vienna is the IBA-VIAC Mediation and Negotiation Competition. Universities from around the world come to Vienna to compete in simulated legal negotiations with the support of a student mediator and with the assessment and feedback of international experts. The problem is based on the case of the Willem C. VIS Moot which is remodeled to focus the students on their ability to utilize negotiation and mediation skills and strategies to successfully negotiate a settlement that best serves the needs of the parties. The competition is preceded and accompanied by a series of trainings and educational and social events in the field of Consensual Dispute Resolution.

International Speed Networking for Lawyers
HKIAC would like to inform you about the International Speed Networking for Lawyers, which is organized by the European Centre for Legal Cooperation with the support of Moscow City Bar on 26-29 June 2016 in Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
The International Speed Networking for Lawyers is designed to enrich the professional network of lawyers from more than 20 countries by introducing them to new Russian colleagues. The aim is to create mutually beneficial alliances through meetings and professional exchanges with more than 200 Russian lawyers interested in establishing connections with foreign lawyers. Recognising the growing market demand for tribunal secretaries, the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) is offering the world’s first tribunal secretary accreditation programme. As an extension of HKIAC’s award-winning tribunal secretary service, this programme is aimed at training and accrediting a new generation of qualified tribunal secretaries.
Join us for a one-and-a-half day workshop featuring various forms of lively and practical training and exercises, followed by a written and oral exam. Those who pass the exam may apply for admission to a list of accredited tribunal secretaries maintained by HKIAC that is available for appointment in arbitrations seated in any jurisdictions and governed by any procedural rules.
