HKIAC is pleased to be a supporting organisation of this event.
This five-day intensive masterclass programme focuses on what lawyers, arbitrators and cross-border trading companies and merchants need to understand the prevalent international princi-ples and best practices in international commer-cial and investment arbitration and mediation.
There are three modules in the programme:
- Module 1: consists of two-day interactive lec-tures and workshops on the UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration, UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commer-cial Conciliation, UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules and UNCITRAL Conciliation Rules.
- Module 2: consists of one-day programme fo-cuses on investor-state arbitration and particu-larly the ICSID framework and procedures.
- Module 3: consists of two-day intensive CEDR-IDRA International Mediation Foundation train-ing programme.
Participants who complete all the three Modules will be awarded a certificate of attendance issued by the organiser(s). Participants who pass all the assessments in Module 3 will be eligible to take CEDR-IDRA Fast-track Module II to become CEDR accredited mediators.
