Online Dispute Resolution: Now and the Future
Online Dispute Resolution is a form of dispute resolution that relies on the internet to resolve disputes. Dispute resolution methods including negotiation, mediation, conciliation and arbitration are gradually evolving to become available online.
As one of the founding offices of the Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Center (“ADNDRC”), the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (“HKIAC”) has been administering domain name disputes since 2002 and is accommodating users’ needs for more online dispute resolution options.

2017 Hong Kong Summit on Commercial Dispute Resolution in China

This joint event is part of a series of Annual Summit on Commercial Dispute Resolution in China organized by the BAC/BIAC. This year, the Annual Summit reaches its fifth anniversary. Arbitration and the need for speed

Chasing the Money: Part One Pre-dispute asset tracing
Today the global economy is more closely intertwined than ever before, with parties taking advantage of free movement of capital to easily transfer assets across jurisdictions. The ability to "chase the money" is all the more important, especially in cross-border dispute resolution proceedings involving multiple legal systems, parties and complex corporate structures.
The first of this two part seminar* will provide a comprehensive overview of how asset tracing can be used to shape a dispute resolution strategy at the early stages, and equip participants with the tools to make sound business decisions when faced with a dispute.
